Grateful Dogs Rescue Requesting Year End Donations To Fund 2012 Dog Rescue In San Francisco

21-Dec-2011

Adoption fees cover barely one-third of the cost the medical care and expenses of the dogs rescued, so Grateful Dogs Rescue relies on the generosity of wonderful donors to help with the rest.  Please consider making a holiday donation to Grateful Dogs Rescue in honor of your beloved pets, or in memory of pets no longer with you, so Grateful Dogs Rescue can continue a twenty year history of providing hope for homeless dogs right here in San Francisco. Grateful Dogs Rescue volunteers work hard, without a lot of fanfare, to save dogs at risk of euthanasia at San Francisco Animal Care & Control.  And Grateful Dogs Rescue is still the only rescue group that works exclusively with the city shelter.

In order to save these dogs Grateful Dogs Rescue volunteers recruit foster homes, provide needed veterinary care (including expensive orthopedic surgery when appropriate), work hard to find their perfect ‘forever’ homes, and raise awareness of the importance of considering adoption first.

Grateful Dogs Rescue is a registered 501-(c) (3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated. Donations can be sent to:

About Grateful Dogs Rescue

Grateful Dogs Rescue is the oldest all-breed rescue group in San Francisco.  For more than two decades our mission has been to save the lives of dogs at San Francisco Animal Care and Control that are at risk of euthanasia.  We save as many of these dogs as possible, place them in experienced foster homes, and provide veterinary care and training as needed until loving adopters can be found.
